I can't begin to tell you how many times in a given day I hear or see commercials on TV as well as the radio for newly released prescription drugs. It drives me nuts! For 30 to 60 seconds, the commercial talks about how wonderful this new drug is and how it will change your life and change the world.The part that I love most about these advertisements is the very ending when the announcer comes on and talks really really, and I mean REALLY fast about all the side effects. Some of the side effects mentioned are absolutely freaky! In many cases some of the side effects are worse than the original problem!

Yeah that's like the ad for the new fibromyalgia med, everyone thinks it is soooooooo great but when you listen to the side effects it's like...no fucking way!! I'd rather keep the fibro pain. At least I know what to expect. Who the hell wants to trade in aching and pain for nausea, diarrhea, bloody noses, and who knows what else?
The Viagra commercials are getting annoying too. I mean really, WHO CARES?!
