Telephone customer service is a freaking joke. I can't really place my finger on the exact day when the shit hit the fan with telephone support. I think it kind of falls under the same category as attempting to watch grass grow.
Dell.com at one point in time, had pretty decent customer service. Unfortunately, their phone supports today totally sucks ass. It's terrible. Absolutely dreadful. I had to get warranty work done on my notebook and the experience was something I won't forget.
I started my venture by going to www.dell.com to get their phone number. I called, the number shown on their web site and navigated my way through the menu options. I was prompted to enter my service tag number and a few other pieces of info. After that was done, I was put back into their holding pattern for about ten minutes. At that point in time, someone picked up the phone and I had to re-verify all the stupid information I had already plugged into their system. (What is the point of making me enter it into the phone in the first place if you're going to ask again).
Having gone through all that, finally I can explain that I need to get warranty work on my stupid notebook. Quickly I was interrupted and told that I need to contact their support department. I was issued out the proper phone number and the call was ended.
So, now I proceeded to call the second number, having to go through all the same process as mentioned above. After about 15 minutes of being on hold, a person picked up (mind you he had really bad broken English) and explained to me that the service department to handle my request is closed.
WTF is wrong with telephone support and customer service today? I freaking blows... I paid very good money for my notebook and even more money to have a bull shit warranty. Little did I know that I would have to invest over 8 hours into getting warranty work processed on my notebook computer.
Don't get me wrong, Dell computers are awesome and their support was awesome too, at one point in time. But just like attempting to watch grass grow, you don't notice a difference on a day to day basis. However, if you step out on to your porch and look at your grass after two weeks from mowing it, you'll see a difference. If you're last contact with Dell was about a year ago and if you call them today, not only will you have a pain in your ass, but you'll want to take your computer and shove it up Dell's ass.
I'll be honest, I don't know who the hell I am voting for. You're welcome to drop a comment and voice your opinion on who I should vote for. I am going to have a very difficult time in the voting booth and unfortunately time is going very fast and I have no idea where my vote is going. Who are you voting for and most importantly... WHY!!!
Don't just drop a comment and tell me who has your vote, I seriously want to know your reasoning behind your vote and please back up your comments with facts and don't post bull shit propaganda. I need facts and not just a bunch of political mumbo jumbo.
What is an SEO expert? To be honest, the claimed SEO experts that I know are idiots. They don't know shit about search engine optimization and majority try to makes things much for complicated that what things really need to be.
SEO basically is the process of using a balanced HTML code design that is optimal for search engines to read. This isn't freaking rocket science. There are many SEO blogs out that that pick and pull apart the code from many popular websites and blogs and then publicly analyze and speculate the original designers intentions. Specifically what they do is attempt to looking way into the code and determine if the designer is trying to game the search engines or not.
I almost find reading many of the sites of these claimed SEO experts to be entertaining. They pick and tear about and criticize the efforts of others and acts as if they are the head honcho in charge.
If you are wanting to learn how to better optimize your web site or blog for search engines, invest some time into researching the references, articles and documents that many of the major search engines provide publicly.
Again, SEO isn't rocket science, it's a matter of making your blog or web site accessible for search engines so that your content can get indexed, ranked and seen in the search engines.
It's true... the whole eBook thing really pisses me off. In my opinion, the invention of eBook were supposed to be something that allowed many talented and gifted writers an easier way to publishing by using the Internet. Unfortunately today, most eBooks are garbage and packed so full of propaganda and useless information.
I am not saying that all eBooks are worthless pieces of shit... there are actually many excellent high quality eBooks out there that can help people a lot. However, what I am saying is this...
Because of how many bull shit waste of money eBooks out here on the Internet, it makes it difficult for me to find and or decipher which ones are the good ones versus the ones that are scams.
I don't know... you tell me, what are some really good trusted eBooks that you have found. Be warned, if you drop a comment trying to self promote your piece of shit eBook, I'll get pretty upset and flame you.
I want to know about some really good eBooks that have changed your life or how your go about doing something. I could give a shit less about the topic, as I'll let the search engines sort all that stuff out.
I am or was a pretty big fan of the famous CBS show, Survivor.
I'll have to admit, for the first time since the very beginning,
I absolutely did not watch a single show last year.
The new season coming up does look pretty promising
and it has totally captured my attention. The current season
coming up is called, "Fans vs Favorites", and I have to admit,
I think it will be very entertaining.
So what do you think, are there way too many seasons of
Survivor? Do you think that CBS is over doing it and diluting the
excitement with the show? The reason I ask this is because I can compare my own person anticipation
when Big Brother is about to air compared to my level of anticipation with the any given next season of
Survivor.
Personally, for me, I enjoy watching Big Brother much more than watching Survivor. For one, Big Brother
is one three days of the week. Secondly, it's current and live, meaning it wasn't recorded months ago.
Third, is the fact that I can subscribed to the Big Brother Live Feed and watch the events as they take
place. So, I don't know... what do you think? Does CBS product way too many Survivor seasons?
Drop me a comment and share your thoughts.
I can't begin to tell you how many times in a given day I hear or see commercials on TV as well as the radio for newly released prescription drugs. It drives me nuts! For 30 to 60 seconds, the commercial talks about how wonderful this new drug is and how it will change your life and change the world.
Mary, (name changed to protect whoever it is)
I wasn't sure if I should knock or not. Let me know how late is too late.
